3rd Generation - (Grandpa & Grandma Mitchell)

My other set of Grandparents own a farm up Kingston Canyon. This is the farm where my love for hiking and arrowhead hunting was born.  We would spend our summers climbing the hills around the farm, picking potatoes in the fall and swimming in the river until our toes looked like little shriveled tadpoles.

3rd Generation - (Grandpa & Grandma Wiltshire)

Photos of my Grandpa are few but my memories are many...
* Teasing me about my Teddy Bear
* Standing at the back door talking
* Doin' Calves
* Going Fishing
* Looking at Bulls and Show Calves
* Driving Grandma to the Ranch
But the most vivid memory of all is him driving around in his green truck... "Checkin' Cows!" - He'd say.

The 2nd Generation - My Parents

To me... my parents were culturally very typical standard Mormon parents. My dad worked hard and my mom stayed home with us kids and together they provided for all of our needs and most of our wants. I never was without a home, I was always dressed and I never went to bed hungry, unless out of fit throwing and anger, I stomped off to bed with out my dinner...

My Father born Charles Neil Wiltshire married my mother Zina Mitchell on July 23, 1962, later sealed in the Manti Temple.

My father was born - 6 Sep 1939 - Circleville, Piute County, Utah, USA. He served in the Navy.
And he died -  9 Apr 2004 - Circleville, Piute County, Utah, USA
His parents are -

ME! - The First Generation

I, Anavon Wiltshire, born June 26, 1963 in Pangutich, Utah to Charles Neil Wiltshire & Zina Mitchell, will at this time only share a little bit about myself due to the fact that there are several family members around me that are still alive and believe that to much personal information shared about one's self on the social network could and would be very detrimental to one's personal identity. So out of respect to those still living, this blog will only serve to "dig up the dead!"

But I can tell you that I married my BEST friend... Marty Eugene Harris on Sept. 14, 1984 in the St. George Temple. We now have five wonderful boys and are living in New England.

I have a full and unbinding love for the gospel and my testimony grows stronger everyday. I have been blessed with many wonderful callings and opportunities to serve and to share the gospel in both my travels and with my family. I would not be the person I am today if we're not for my heritage, my family and my Heavenly Father

The Reason Why!

I, like Nephi, having been born of goodly parents and raised in the heritage of my father, have decided
that after 30 years of family research, I need to share all my wonderful findings with the world.

 I have so much complied that it took me longer to decide how to organize it all than it did to set up the blogs. And until a better way of sharing on social media comes along then please bare with me and all my clickable links and pages.

I am going to try to set the first part of "The Gathering Place" blog by generation, so tomorrow starting with ME, because that would be the 1st generation of a Family Pedigree Chart, I will work back as far as I can.... This may take Years! I have over 14000 names at this time and a lot of cool stuff to share. So please check back often and feel free to comment and add stuff to the family stories.

LIKE THE TITLE SAYS....
